Book Making
Many of you know that I personally make by hand all of my wedding and children's albums. This did not happen because I wanted to make books but rather I could not find albums which allowed me to use my giclee printed images. (I use cotton fiber papers which are similar to the ones used in fine art displays.)
Consequently, while I am in New York I always visit my favorite store, Talas, for all things bookbinding. It is a huge warehouse of just amazing tools, book cloths and most importantly people who can answer questions that I may have. I could spend hours here just walking around getting ideas and picking the brain of people like Aaron on the art of bookbinding. Talas has allowed me to create our Couture Album which is truly one of a kind.
